Our fleet equipment
We continuously incorporate innovative equipment and features into our buses with the purpose of guaranteeing universal accessibility for all users.
Ibiza's vehicles feature:
Our vehicles have an electric ramp for wheelchair access, located at the central door, to facilitate access to the bus for passengers in wheelchairs/scooters.
This automatic ramp only operates when the vehicle is stationary and the parking brake is engaged.
In all cases, the folding and unfolding movements are accompanied by visual and audible warning signals, both inside and outside of the vehicle. The ramp should not be used until it is fully in place, i.e., when the flashing lights and sounds stop.
In these vehicles, the access device consists of a horizontal ramp protected by a safety device, which prevents the ramp from moving when it detects an obstacle. Furthermore, in the event of a breakdown, the ramp on these vehicles can be easily extended and retracted manually to ensure access.
Consult the minimum requirements for wheelchairs and scooters to be permitted.
Seat-free spaces for wheelchair or scooter users, near the central door to facilitate passenger access, as this door is where the access ramp is normally located.
This space is signposted for preferential use by wheelchair users and is equipped with a seat belt and a support board.
The passenger must travel rearward-facing, making use of the aforementioned support and the seat belt.
Specific stop buttons for passengers located in these areas.
At least 4 seats located preferably near the front door to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility or disabilities.
They are identified by a different upholstery color and distinctive pictograms, and offer more space for better accessibility and to accommodate assistance dogs if necessary.
Standardized, easy-to-understand pictograms throughout the vehicle, complemented by Braille signage.
State-of-the-art non-slip floor with non-reflective materials, both in wet and dry conditions.
Edges of interior or access steps also in a contrasting color, usually yellow or reflective material.
Anti-trap system on access doors that reverses opening/closing if an obstacle is encountered.
Drive-lock system that prevents the vehicle from moving if any door is open or the access ramp/platform is deployed.
Lateral kneeling system that reduces the vehicle's height on the right side to facilitate access for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility.
Vehicles are equipped with Operation Support Systems (OSS/SAE) providing audible announcements and exterior visual information, indicating stops, service, and destination. Announcements can be activated by Ciberpass systems.
