Provides free travel for those over 65, pensioners, long-term unemployed, and people at risk of social exclusion.
Who is it for?
It is aimed at residents of Ibiza who meet any of the following requirements:
- PEOPLE OVER 65: individuals who have reached this age at the time of submitting the application.

PENSIONERS, in the following cases:
1. Individuals receiving a pension for total permanent disability.
2. Individuals who provide official certification of a degree of disability equal to or greater than 65%.
3. Individuals receiving any other type of official economic pension (retirement, widowhood, TOTAL permanent disability, etc.) who are OVER 55 at the time of application and can prove they are not engaged in any employment or self-employment. - LONG-TERM UNEMPLOYED: individuals who have been unemployed for more than 2 years.
- PEOPLE AT RISK OF SOCIAL EXCLUSION.
When does it expire?
The card's expiration depends on the type of user: it is indefinite for those over 65 and for those with non-reviewable total permanent disabilities.
For all other users, the expiration date is linked to that of the documentation provided.
What documentation is required to obtain the card?
- Personal identification: DNI, TIE, or EU Citizen Registration Certificate (CRUE) accompanied by a passport; must be original and valid.
- Travel certificate, "volante de empadronamiento," or a valid census certificate showing residency on the island of Ibiza, unless the address on the DNI already proves it.
- Retirement pensions must be proven with a document issued by the National Social Security Institute (INSS) or the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
- Disability status and the recognized degree of disability must be proven with a certificate issued by the Balearic Institute of Social Affairs (IBAS) or an equivalent body.
Other pensioners must provide proof in the same manner, using certificates issued by the corresponding official bodies.
The status of not being engaged in employment must be proven by presenting a certificate issued by the National Social Security Institute or the General Social Security Treasury (TGSS).
Long-term unemployed individuals must present a SOIB report certifying this situation for a period of two years or more.
People at risk of social exclusion must present a report issued by their local Town Council's Social Services, specifying their right to free transport and the applicable period.
